“Murph” and 6Soles

This past weekend we took on the “Murph” Challenge, a fundraiser put on by CrossFit Austin to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Foundation. Since we’re training for the Leadville 100 mile run we figured we might as well complete 3 rounds of Murph. We did as a part of our training, but more importantly, we did it to push ourselves physically and mentally.

It was pretty brutal, but we got through it and it is nothing compared to what soldiers go through every day. What was most important that day was the cause - honoring a fallen soldier, Murph, and donating to the Wounded Warrior Foundation to give back to those who fought so bravely for our freedom. Nothing we do can compare to this.

The Results:

Kris sub 2.5 hours

Elliot sub 3 hours

Zac sub 3.15 hours

Thanks so much to CrossFit Austin, Wes Kimball and Miguel Garza for supporting and housing such a great cause and letting us take on this workout for 3 hours at your gym!
